It was with deep sadness that we announced the cancellation of the Annual Fire Training Conference. This year was meant to be a celebration. A chance to gather, train, and honor 90 years of tradition and service. We know how much our members look forward to this event, and we share your disappointment. The camaraderie, education, and shared experiences are the heart of what makes this conference special, and its absence is felt across the fire service community.

While we won’t be meeting in person, the NSFA Annual Membership Meeting will still take place via Zoom on:

Meeting Participation Requirements
To attend the meeting:
- You must be a dues-paid member for FY2025 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025) or an invited guest.
- You must register online individually prior to the meeting using the link above.
To serve as a delegate for your department:
- You must be a FY2025 dues-paid member.
- Your membership type must be Regular or Life Member.
- You must be present during roll call at the beginning of the meeting.
Important Meeting Notes
- Phone call-in will not be allowed — you must join using the Zoom app or web interface.
- Once approved, you will receive a personalized Zoom link to join the meeting.
- Participants can enter the Zoom meeting up to 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- The meeting will be locked after roll call; no late entries will be permitted.
- If disconnected, you’ll be placed in the waiting room and may need to wait to be readmitted.
- Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the meeting at the discretion of the NSFA Board. Removed participants will not be allowed back in.
Zoom Etiquette: Help the Meeting Run Smoothly
- Join early to avoid technical delays.
- Mute your mic when not speaking.
- Use your real name as it appears on your NSFA membership.
- Turn your camera on if you’re comfortable—it helps with engagement and roll call.
- Use chat respectfully and sparingly for questions or comments.
- Limit background distractions and stay focused during the meeting.
- Use the “Raise Hand” feature if you’d like to speak.
Though we aren’t gathering in Fallon this year, our unity and dedication remain strong. This organization is built on the strength of its members, and we thank you for continuing to show up, step up, and support your fellow firefighters.
