The Nevada State Firefighter’s Association offers $250 training stipends to assist members in good standing in attending training events throughout the State of Nevada. With the ever-increasing cost of travel and reduction in fire department budgets, we hope this will help you attend training through the NSFA.
Eligibility
Stipends are available to members in good standing to attend the NSFA Annual Training Conference or another Nevada training function. No more than five stipends will be awarded to any requesting department throughout the fiscal year.
How to Apply
To apply, please include:
- Your name and department
- The chief or designee’s signature
- A brief reason for your request
All applications are reviewed, and stipends are granted on an as-needed basis when NSFA funding is available. Any application for the NSFA Annual Training Conference must be received by April 15.
