80th Annual NSFA Golf Tournament

Dear Potential Supporter:

The South Reno Bulldogs would like to invite you to sponsor and/or participate in the 2015 Nevada State Firefighters Golf Tournament. The tournament is being held for the 80th annual Nevada State Firefighters Association Training Conference.

The South Reno Bulldogs are hosting this tournament on their behalf as a fund raising event. This is an eleven (11) year old and under youth baseball team. They have been invited to play in a national tournament in Cooperstown, New York in 2016 and this fundraiser will help them get there.

The golf tournament is being held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Empire Ranch Golf Course, located at 1875 Fair Way in Carson City. The tournament is 4 person scramble format and the cost is $90.00 per player.

We are seeking Hole Sponsors. The price to sponsor a hole is $100.00. When you or your company purchases a hole sponsorship, you will receive a sign with your name or company name that is placed on the course. This is a great way to show that your company supports Nevada Firefighters and Nevada kids.

As background on the South Reno Bulldogs, this is an eleven person team that is a grass roots program. Following Little League season last year this team formed and wanted to keep playing. They played in three tournaments post Little League season. The last was in the Sacramento area and played all Northern California teams which they won first place. This is not a big program with multiple teams. Their goal last year was to be invited to play at Cooperstown. Now that they have been invited they have to work very hard to raise the funds in order to go and this is the first step on getting them there. The tournament cost is $895 per child to participate plus airfare of about $700 per child.
